The battery is an essential aspect for most users while buying a smartphone. In this article, we will show you how to check the battery health of Samsung Galaxy smartphones. Many users closely monitor their smartphones’ battery percentage, but most don’t know about their battery health.

When we buy a new smartphone, the battery health is pretty good, and the smartphone lasts longer. Along with Apple, Samsung is among the few smartphone makers that allow users to see their smartphone’s battery health. However, most users don’t know how to check the battery health on their Galaxy devices. So, if you want to check the battery health of your Samsung Galaxy devices, this guide is for you.

It does require an app to check the battery’s health, but it comes preinstalled in most Galaxy smartphones. The app is called the Samsung Members app, and if you don’t have it on your device, you can download it from the Play Store.

Now, swipe down from the top of the screen to reveal the quick settings menu. Tap on the settings icon/gear icon to open the settings option.

In the settings menu, scroll down, navigate, and select “Battery and Device Care.”

Next, navigate and select “Additional Care,” and then select “Diagnostics.”

Now, tap on “Phone Diagnostics.”

This will open the Samsung Members app on your device, and you will see several icons. Navigate and then tap on the “Battery status” icon. Once you tap on the “Battery Status” icon, your smartphone’s battery capacity and battery health will be displayed.

The “life” reading is the battery health. It will either be “Good,” “Normal,” or “Weak.”
