The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 launch is just a few weeks away as the device will launch next month. Samsung will hold its Unpacked event in Paris next month, where it will launch the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Watch Ultra, and Galaxy Ring. Samsung, on the other hand, has not shared any details about these devices. However, just before the release, there were many leaks and rumors about these devices.
A new leak about the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 has just surfaced online which revealed the complete specifications of the device. Smartprix shared the complete specifications of the flip folding device from Samsung. According to the leaks, the device will launch in four colors that are Mint, Silver Shadow, Yellow, and Blue. As per the leaked report, the device will reportedly feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Main display with a 120Hz fast refresh rate. The main display has a pixel resolution of 2640 x 1080 pixels. As for the cover display, the Galaxy Flip 6 will feature a cover display of 3.4-inch super AMOLED display with a resolution of 720 x 748 and a color depth of 16 million.
Under the hood will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chipset with clock speeds of 3.39GHz, 3.1 GHz, 2.9 GHz, and 2.2 GHz. This chipset is the tweaked version Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset Qualcomm manufactured in collaboration with Samsung for Galaxy flagship devices. The device will launch with either 246GB or 512GB of internal storage.
The device is expected to come with a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50 MP f/1.8 PDAF main lens. This is the same lens that comes on the Galaxy S24 series and the Galaxy Z Fold 5. The primary camera sensor is paired with a 12MP ultra-wide sensor with f.2.2 aperture. For selfies and video calls, the device will have the same 10MP lens with f/2.2 aperture and autofocus as found in its predecessor. The device will, however, be able to shoot videos in 4K at 60 fps, 1080p at 120 fps, and slow-motion videos at 240 fps.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 will feature a 4,000 mAh battery, a significant upgrade over its predecessor. Unfortunately, there is no mention of charging speed at the moment. It is reported to come with a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.3, and Wi-Fi 6.
