Oppo has announced Oppo Reno 12F 5G with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC

Today, Oppo announced its Oppo Reno 12F 5G device. It is part of the Oppo Reno 12 series, including the standard Reno 12 and the Reno 12 Pro. The device comes in two colors, has a MediaTek Dimensity chipset, and has a 5000 mAh battery. Check the device’s detailed specifications below.

Oppo Reno 12F Specifications:

The device features a 6.67-inch full HD+ OLED display with 1,080×2,400 pixels resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate. The display has a 92.2 percent screen-to-body ratio, 394 pixel density, and a peak brightness of 1200 nits. The display has a protection of AGC DT-Star 2 glass.

The device’s helm is a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 512GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. It runs on ColorOS 14 on top of Android 14 out of the box. Oppo’s AI suite, including AI Recording Summary, AI Summary for text, AI Writer, and AI Speak, is also on this device.

On the rear side is a triple-camera system consisting of a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization, an 8MP wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, there is a 32MP front camera housed in a punch-hole cutout on the top center of the display. Like other devices in the series, this device also gets AI-based camera features like AI Best Face, AI Eraser 2.0, AI Studio, and AI Clear Face.

The Oppo Reno 12F is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. According to the company, the included charger can charge the device from zero to 100 percent in seventy-one minutes.

Other specifications include 5G, an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance, NFC, USB Type-C, GPS, Bluetooth 5.3, face unlock, and a fingerprint scanner. The device is listed on Oppo’s global website in Amber Orange and Olive Green color options. Oppo has not yet disclosed the price of the device.
