Two months after launching the iOS app, Anthropic has now introduced an Android version of its Claude AI chatbot – serving its users on the mobile ecosystem, too.
Claude’s new Android app is free and works with both the Pro and Team plans – letting the paid users cash on it. Competitors of Anthropic have long surpassed this move, but we hope to see Claude grabbing a significant share quickly, considering its superior AI capabilities than its peers.

Claude AI, one of the famed chatbots in recent months is now having an Android app – coming couple of months after its maker Anthropic launched the iOS version.
The new Android app is free and supports both the Pro and Team versions for the paid users, says Anthropic. Further, the platform syncs the conversation data across hardware to let you continue your chat on both the web and mobile apps – if logged into the same email account.
While there are several services in the AI chatbot space, OpenAI’s ChatGPT have taken much of the attention since their inception. After all, OpenAI is the one that stated this AI revolution and ChatGPT has fuelled others to invent their own similar chatbots.
And with its fame, OpenAI has also become a crucial partner of Apple – with its ChatGPT powering the new Apple Intelligence suite in iOS 18. While it’s an interesting take, there are chances that Claude AI is more powerful than the ChatGPT, on many counts.
Industry experts have noted that Claude AI has outperformed ChatGPT and Gemini AI on several key benchmarks, putting Anthropic’s offering atop. Though regular users won’t see any difference in their usage, power users of such chatbots may value the contrast Claude AI brings.
