Nothing Phone 2a Plus launched in India. The device is a minor upgrade over Nothing Phone 2a and has a MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro SoC at the helm. The device features a 6.7-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 394 ppi, and a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the display panel. The display has a 240Hz touch sampling rate and a peak brightness of 1,300 nits under direct sunlight.
Under the hood is the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro 5G chipset manufactured on 4nm fabrication. The chipset is paired with Mali-G610 MC4 GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. It runs on Nothing OS 2.6 on top of Android 14 out of the box. The company has promised three years of major Android updates and four years of security updates.
On the rear side, a dual-camera system is headlined by a 50MP Samsung G9 1/1.57-inch sensor with f/1.88 aperture, 10x digital zoom, and optical image stabilization (OIS) with electronic image stabilization (EIS). The primary sensor is paired with a secondary 50MP Samsung JN1 1/2.76-inch sensor that offers a 114-degree field of view. For selfies and video calls, there is a 50MP Samsung JN1 selfie shooter housed in a punch-hole cutout on the display. The device has a 5000 mAh battery with 50W fast wired charging support and 5W reverse wired charging support.
Other specifications include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6 Direct, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, QZSS, 360-degree antenna, and USB Type-C port. The Nothing Phone 2a Plus is IP54-rated for dust and water resistance. On the rear side, the device has a Glyph interface just like other Nothing phones.
