Tecno Camon 30 5G series launched with 5000 mAh battery

Tecno launched its Tecno Camon 30 5G series in India. The series comprises two devices – the Tecno Camon 30 5G and the Camon 30 Premier 5G. Both devices target the upper mid-range segment and come with a MediaTek dimensity Chipset, a 50MP selfie camera, Android 14 out of the box, a 5000 mAH battery with fast charging, and much more. Tecno Camon 30 5G series specifications:

The Tecno Camon 30 5G features a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 1,080×2,436 pixel resolution, and a fast 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 Chipset manufactured on 6nm fabrication. In comparison, the premier device features a 6.77-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display panel with 1,264×2,7800 pixel resolution, a fast 120Hz refresh rate and it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 ultimate chip manufactured on 4nm fabrication. Both devices run on HiOS 14 on top of Android 14 out of the box.

The standard model comes in two storage variants i.e. 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage and 12GB of RAM + 256GB of internal storage. On the other hand, the premier model comes in a single storage variant i.e. 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

On the rear side, the Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G comes with a triple 50MP camera setup. The camera setup consists of a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide sensor. The standard model has a dual camera setup on the rear side consisting of a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front side, both devices have the same 50MP sensor for taking selfies and video calls.

On the battery front, these devices are equipped with a 5000 mAh battery cell with 70W fast wired charging. The company claimed that with the included charger in the box, these devices can be charged from zero to 100 percent in just 45 minutes. Other specifications include 5G, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, an in-display fingerprint scanner, a USB Type C port, and all the sensors.
